How much does it cost to join Ume Community?

What kind of payment do you accept?

Ume uses Stripe as our payment service provider. Stripe accepts all major credit and debit cards. For up-to-date details on Stripe’s services, please click here.

How secure are my credit card details?

All credit card details will be stored on Stripe’s secure payments platform. Ume will not store any of your credit card details on our server.

How secure are my private details?

Ume Co website and data are hosted on WP Engine’s state-of-the-art secure servers. Your Credit Card details will be stored on Stripe’s secure payments platform.

Ume recommends that you keep your login details in a secure place and regularly change your password.

Will Ume sell my personal details to other external companies?

No, Ume will not on sell your personal details to other external companies.

Who do I contact for assistance with my Ume membership?

We’d love to help you with any enquires and questions you may have in regards to becoming a Ume member.

Am I locked into a long-term membership contract?

No, as current membership period is monthly.  If you decide to suspend or cancel your membership your membership will cease at the end of your current month.  Please contact us at accounts@umeco.com.au  to start the process of suspending or cancelling your membership.

If I want to cancel my Ume Community membership, what do I need to do?

If you have decided to suspend or cancel your current membership, please email us at accounts@umeco.com.au and we will reply to your request as quickly as possible.

Is the Ume Community an exclusive club?

No, Ume is not an exclusive club, however we do expect our members to observe our code of conduct, which can be found here.

What behaviour will not be tolerated as a Ume Marketplace member?

I purchased a learning experience, professional service, lifestyle service or product and it has not been delivered to my satisfaction.  Who do I contact?

Ume is sorry you have had this experience and we will do our best to resolve this matter quickly.

Please contact the Ume Marketplace shopfront seller directly with your complaint, as they are your first point of contact.  An “Inquiry” link can be found on the Ume Marketplace Seller’s Shopfront or in the “About Us” section of the offering you purchased.

At the same time, please contact us either via our contacts page, which can be found here  or at support@umeco.com.au

When outlining your complaint please specify the following:

  1. Who the Ume Marketplace shopfront seller is,
  2. The offering you purchased,
  3. When you purchased it, and
  4. What the issue or complaint is.

This information will allow us to efficiently follow up with the Ume Marketplace shopfront seller directly.

I have a spoken to a Ume shopfront seller about a customer complaint and they are not responding or the complaint has not been resolved to my liking.  What do I do?

Returns and refunds: How do you return a product or get a refund?

Please check with the Ume Marketplace shopfront seller from whom you purchased from for further details about their returns and refund policies.

A Ume Marketplace shopfront seller’s delivery policies can be found either in their Ume Marketplace shopfront listing or in the specific listing for the offering you purchased or are looking at purchasing. Please look for the delivery policy under the “Policies” tab. 

How much does delivery cost? 

Any delivery fee policies can be found in the Ume Marketplace shopfront sellers listing or the listing for the offering you purchased.

Also, if applicable any delivery fees will be calculated at checkout.

Please check with the Ume Marketplace shopfront seller from whom you purchased for details regarding their deliveries and delivery costs.

Can I order from more than one Ume Marketplace Seller at a time?

Yes, you can, however, items ordered from different Ume Marketplace seller will be delivered separately.

What do I need to do to become a Ume Marketplace seller?

Firstly, you need to be a Ume Community Member.  Please click here to become a Ume Member.

Once you’ve become a Ume Community Member, please take time to read the following information about how the Ume Marketplace works, which can be found here.

Then you need to apply to become a Ume Marketplace shopfront seller. Once your application has been completed and submitted, Ume will assess and approve, decline or offer feedback regarding your application.

Are there any offerings that will not be accepted on the Ume Marketplace?

Yes, there are some offerings that will not be accepted for sale on the Ume Marketplace.

If I’m already a Ume Marketplace seller and would like to close my shop, what do I need to do?

Ume is sad that you would like to close your shopfront account, however, no problems.  Please contact us at marketplace@umeco.com.au and we will make this process as stress free as possible.

Unsubscribe

How do I get removed from the Ume Community subscribers mailing list?

Not a problem!  There are a few ways you can do this.

You can look at the footer of the last email correspondence we sent you where you will find an unsubscribe link.  Please click on that link and follow the instructions to unsubscribe from our mailing lists.

You can email Ume at support@umeco.com.au outlining that you would like to Unsubscribe from our mailing lists and we will take care of the rest.

Finally you can contact us via our contacts page, which can be found here.   Please specify in the subject that you would like to unsubscribe from our mailing list.
